Grote Sony baas Shuhei Yoshida heeft in een interview met Pocket-lint aangegeven dat PlayStation Move (je weet wel, de motion-controller die eigenlijk een beetje geflopt is) pas écht goed tot zijn recht komt in combinatie met Project Morpheus. Daarom wil Sony de motion-controller even ‘met rust laten’, en pas weer naar voren halen wanneer Project Morpheus in de winkels ligt.

“Motion gaming was a big thing, but, like with social games, dance games, music or guitar games, I don’t think there’s a lot of appetite for another motion game at this moment.”
However, Yoshida noted that PS Move “was a bit ahead of its time. So now we are realizing that, when we do Project Morpheus, the one thing you want to do immediately is interact with an object in virtual space, and the one way to do that is that you need a 3D positioning input device, like PS Move.”

Zoals je hierboven kunt lezen zegt Yoshida ook dat de PlayStation Move zijn tijd eigenlijk ietwat vooruit was.

Wij zijn in ieder geval erg benieuwd wat Project Morpheus (in combinatie met PlayStation Move) ons gaat brengen.
