Sony heeft een gratis game voor de mobiele platformen uitgebracht, met niemand minder dan het duo Ratchet & Clank in de hoofdrol, voor iOS en Android. Ratchet and Clank: Before the Nexus is een ‘infinite runner’ die vergelijkbaar is met Temple Run, maar gekenmerkt wordt door eigenschappen uit de Ratchet & Clank franchise. Spelers van Before the Nexus en Nexus voor de PlayStation 3 kunnen tussen beide versies Raritanium (punten) syncen.
