We hadden erop gerekend dat de Franse Revolutie dit jaar op 28 oktober zou uitbreken, maar jammer genoeg is hij uitgesteld. De releasedatum van Assassin’s Creed: Unity is namelijk verplaatst naar 13 november. Daardoor zal de game nu gelijktijdig met Assassin’s Creed: Rogue uitkomen, welke enkel op de oude consoles verschijnt.

Vincent Pontbriand, senior producer bij Ubisoft, heeft een verklaring gegeven voor het uitstel:

“As we got close to the finish, we realized we were near the target but still needed a bit more time to hone some of the details to make sure Assassin’s Creed Unity is exceptional. We sincerely appreciate players’ commitment to the game and their patience. It’s just a couple more weeks. And it’s going to be worth it.”
