Sony baas: Ik hoop dat Rise of the Tomb Raider naar PS4 komt

Ook voor grote Sony baas Shuhei Yoshida was het een grote verrassing dat Rise of the Tomb Raider (tijdelijk) exclusief naar de Xbox One komt. Dat zegt hij in een interview tegenover Eurogamer.

“I was like, ah yeah, they’re going deeper into the games already announced, you know, same kind of lineup, until they talked about Tomb Raider being exclusive.

“How could we know? [Square Enix] might have [told] our third-party relations team, but I didn’t know.

Daarnaast zegt hij in het interview dat hij echt wel dat Rise of the Tomb Raider ook naar de PlayStation 4 komt, maar of dit ook daadwerkelijk gaat gebeuren, is – volgens hem – aan Square Enix en Microsoft.

“That question has to be asked to Square Enix and Microsoft. I hope the game will come out eventually on PS4. But how can I tell? Other than that cryptic message by Phil Spencer.”
